The article "200 English sentences that you must commit to memory" is ubiquitous on "Learn English" Chinese BBSes. It and its various incarnations sometimes come with sensational--and definitely exaggerated--prefaces such as "These 200 hundred sentences are the creme de la creme of foreign classic compositions", " These are perfect sentences", "These are distilled from hundreds of fine Ielts compositions", and so on. Is that for real? The answer is a resounding "NO."
(Although it is over 45 years ago when I took English composition 101 at first year university, I can still remember some of the rules I was taught, and they run contrary to the style of these sentences.)

I am not the only person who notices the problem in these sentences. Here is another individual who is also sceptical, and decided to show it to people who should know. (End of quote.)

If you are still not convinced, all you have to do is to read through the list of sentences carefully and you will pick up some very obvious mistakes.

13 . A proper part-time job does not occupy students' too much time. In fact, it is unhealthy for them to spend all of time on their study. As an old saying goes: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
A proper part-time job would not occupy too much of a student’s time. In fact, it is unhealthy for them to spend all their time on their studies. As an old saying goes: “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” (Please note this same quote is repeated in #79)

26. The information I've collected over last few years leads me to believe that this knowledge may be less useful than most people think.
修改为(The information…over the last few years…less useful than what most people think.)

27. Now, it is generally accepted that no college or university can educate its students by the time they graduation. 改为(--> by the time they graduate.)

44. It is commonly (改为 generally) accepted that no college or university can educate its students by the time they graduation (修改 graduate). (This is essentially the same as 27. My suspicion is that one is a partially corrected version from the same essay, with the second mistake missed.)

32. Although many people claim that, along with the rapidly economic development, the number of people who use bicycle are decreasing and bicycle is bound to die out. The information I've collected over the recent years leads me to believe that bicycle will continue to play extremely important roles in modern society.
修改: the rapidly economic development--> the rapid economic development; bicycle is bound to-->the bicycle is/bicycles are; that bicycle will continue--> the bicycle will/bicycles will.

76. It is hard to imagine a student focusing their energy on textbook while other children are playing. 修改: ( a student …his…textbook)(students…their…textbooks)

I don't think I need to say more. You can judge for yourself. Sure, if all you want is to pass an exam, go ahead and learn from them. If you really want to learn good English, stay away!

On the other hand, another “collection of sentences” is quite acceptable: “英文写作佳句300例”, not to be confused with the other one, can be found in many BBSes. You can search for it by using Baidu.com. Here is one on the diandian.net
http://blog.diandian.net/bbs/dispbbs.asp?boardid=2&id=46453

If you want good sentences to learn from, you should pick the ones written in fluent idiomatic English. There are limitless such sentences in books, newspapers and magazine. If you don't have time to read a whole book, here is a collection of short sentences and paragraphs picked for students (or anyone who is interested) at diandian.net and Rainlane.com to read.
